Services We Provide

Choosing orthodontic care is choosing to make a positive, lasting transformation in your life. We’ll be here for you throughout your journey: encouraging, supporting, educating, and helping you develop the smile you’ll love.

  • Braces

Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colorful smile.

  • Clear Braces

Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. Ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than on lower teeth because they require more attention to oral hygiene.

  • Clear Aligners

Clear aligners are a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable acrylic trays that straighten your teeth like braces. Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink whatever you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are less of a hassle. The aligners are comfortable and have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.

  • Invisalign

Invisalign Aligners are a set of custom aligners that slowly move your teeth into alignment using sets of custom aligners. Our Charlotte area patients love the convenience and comfortability of the aligners. The trays progress treatment by slowly changing the position of the teeth from tray to tray. They are removable for the convenience of oral hygiene.

  • Self-Ligating Braces

Self-ligating braces, like Damon, are made from the same materials as traditional braces. However, self-ligating braces do not require the use of elastics, meaning fewer appointments and less friction being placed on the tooth. Self-ligating braces come with traditional metal, ceramic, or clear brackets.

  • Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are hidden behind the teeth and are therefore “invisible” when you smile. Lingual braces are 100% customized to match the shape of your teeth; the metal appliances are created uniquely for you. Lingual braces are a reasonable option for adult patients.

Innovative Technology

Dr. Bond uses the latest and best orthodontic technology. He is avidly dedicated to study clubs to discuss orthodontic topics, technology, trends, and research to ensure the office stays current in orthodontics and guarantee our patients will always have smiles they’ll love for life.

Fun Fact: A Family of Doctors

It is safe to assume that if you have a medical/dental question, I am sure we can point you in the right direction 🙂

Steps of
‍Orthodontic Treatment

  • Step One

    STRAIGHTEN TEETH

The first step in all orthodontic treatment is to gently move your teeth into an ideal position, one that gives a stunning smile as well as a healthy position within your jawbone. Regardless of treatment modality like Invisalign or Braces, from Day 1 you will notice your teeth shift into their new position.

    step1
  • Step Two

    Fix your bite

Our top and bottom jaws fit together like puzzle pieces. Your jaws may not match up perfectly even after all the teeth are straight. During this step, we use things such as rubber bands or springs to help your teeth fit perfectly together.

  • Step Three

    Detail and Perfect

Once the first two steps are completed, we take a close look at your teeth and smile to ensure that we are giving you an A+ result. At this stage, we value your input in making sure that you are completely satisfied before we finish treatment.

  • Step Four

    RETENTION

At the end of any form of orthodontic treatment, you will be given a retainer to “retain” the results we’ve achieved. This is arguably the most important step of all. While retention is most critical in the first year after you’ve finished treatment, your teeth can continue to move throughout your life. This is why we recommend wearing your retainer “nighttime for a lifetime”!
